1. Who we are

Kliqx decides how and why the personal data in your application is used: we are its controller.

2. What we collect

Profile	Full name, email, mobile number, gender, date of birth, the city and country if you type them, social handles (Instagram and TikTok for Models, actors and content creators, LinkedIn for media buyers and team hires), and your answers to a role’s questions.
Parent or guardian	For a talent under 18: their parent or guardian’s name and mobile number, and the confirmation that they agreed to the application.
Location	Your device’s precise location (latitude, longitude and how accurate it is) at the moment you share it on the first step, and the city and country our own servers look up from it. Applying requires it.
Media	Every take of your video: an audition (Models, actors and content creators) or a short intro (media buyers and team hires). We keep them all, not only the one you submit. A still frame from each take, captured as it starts recording. One profile picture, plus up to 2 gallery photos (Models, actors and content creators) or a CV with its file name (media buyers and team hires). A small copy of your profile picture, made by your own browser, for our staff’s lists. For each take: when it started and ended, how it ended (you stopped it, retook it, left the page, lost the camera, or it never finished), its duration, resolution and format. For each take, signs of whether it was recorded live: whether the camera is a virtual one (judged from its name, which we don’t keep); the picture size and frame rate it recorded at, which way it faces, and whether the browser resized its picture; your browser and its major version, your operating system family, and whether the device is a phone or tablet (never the full browser string); how often and how long the page lost focus; how much of the take the microphone was silent, and its longest silence; the take’s length by your device’s steady clock and by its wall clock, and the last video timestamp; and how long it had recorded while it uploaded. They help our staff tell a real performance from a staged one; they never block a take.
Technical	Your IP address: sent to Cloudflare Turnstile for the human check, and used by us as a rate-limit key kept for 1 hour. The country Cloudflare places your IP address in, kept with your application. The kliqx_resume cookie: httpOnly, kept for 14 days. It reconnects you to your application. A copy of each take in your own browser (IndexedDB) while it uploads, which can carry on in the background after you leave the page; each copy is cleared once our storage confirms it. A copy whose upload never finishes is cleared the next time you open the application form once 24 hours have passed, or sooner if you continue that application. Your camera choice, kept for the browser session.

We use no analytics, ad trackers or pixels, and we don’t sell data.

3. How recording works

The camera turns on only when you tap it. Recording starts after the countdown.
The take uploads in pieces while you record, straight to our private storage.
We don’t edit or re-encode it. The copy on your device is cleared once it has uploaded.

4. Why we use it

To run the casting you asked to take part in, on the basis of your consent at the start of the application and the steps you asked us to take.
To email you about your application.
To know where you really are, so we cast you for roles you can reach. Your location, with the country of your IP address, also helps us spot false applications.
To check that your takes were recorded live, by you: every take, and the signs recorded with each.
To promote Kliqx: we may feature your profile picture, photos and clips of your audition on Kliqx’s own website, showreels and social accounts, as the Terms allow. Tell us and we stop featuring you in new posts.
To reach a minor’s parent or guardian, who agrees for them.
To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.
To meet our legal obligations.

5. Who sees what

Kliqx casting staff: everything in your application.
Clients: only your casting set, which is your audition, photos, first name and city. Never your email, phone number, social handles, date of birth, precise location or your parent or guardian’s details. CVs for team and media roles stay within Kliqx.
Anyone visiting Kliqx’s website, showreels or social accounts: the profile picture, photos and audition clips we feature to promote Kliqx. Once you withdraw or ask us to stop, we feature you in no new posts; posts already published stay.
Service providers acting on our instructions, listed below.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

Our service providers:

our hosting provider, which runs our servers and storage;
Cloudflare, for network delivery, security and the human check. It sees IP addresses and traffic;
Resend, which sends our emails. It sees your email address and the email’s content;
the OpenStreetMap Foundation, whose map our staff open to see where you applied from. It receives the coordinates from our staff’s browser, never your name or contact details. The city and country are looked up on our own servers (a Nominatim service with OpenStreetMap’s data), so that lookup sends your location to no one.

We never sell personal data, and we publish nothing of yours beyond what we feature to promote Kliqx.

6. International transfers

Cloudflare, Resend and the OpenStreetMap Foundation may process data outside Egypt, to deliver our site, send our emails and show our staff on a map where you applied from.

7. How long we keep it

Deletion runs on a schedule, so an item can outlast its period until the next run.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

give you access to the data we hold about you;
correct it;
delete it;
stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
stop featuring you in new posts promoting Kliqx;
consider your objection to how we use it.

To use these rights, email [email protected]. We complete a deletion within 30 days.

A parent or guardian uses these rights for their child under 18.

You can also complain to Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center.

9. Security

Your media is kept in private storage.
The links our staff view media through expire within 1 hour, and the links your take uploads through within 15 minutes.
We store resume links only as a keyed hash, never the link itself.
Connections to our site and storage are encrypted (HTTPS).
Only Kliqx staff can sign in to the dashboard.

No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee your data will never be exposed.

10. Changes

We post new versions of this policy here, with their date. Each application keeps the version it agreed to: we record it with the application.
