1. About

Kliqx runs kliqx.net, a talent house: talent of every age registers with an audition, and we put them forward to brands, agencies and productions casting ads, campaigns, series and film. Kliqx also hires media buyers and its own team through it. These Terms cover applying through it.

Applying means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy in full.

2. Who can apply

Anyone can apply, at any age. You can apply if:

  • the information you give us is accurate;
  • you apply for yourself, or for your child as their parent or guardian;
  • and, if the talent is under 18, their parent or guardian agrees to the application and to these Terms on their behalf.

3. How applying works

  • There is no account. We email you a private resume link that works for 14 days. Anyone holding it can continue your application, so keep it private.
  • Your audition is recorded live in your browser. Like social apps, it uploads to our storage while you record, so it is ready the moment you stop. We don’t edit or re-encode it.
  • Every take you record of your audition or intro is kept with your application, including takes you stop early, retake or don’t finish, and our casting team can see them all. The latest complete take within the time limit is the one you submit.
  • Our casting team sees your application only after you submit it.
  • When you fit a role, we may invite you to a meeting at our office or studio, or to a shoot. You attend on the arrangements we set, and you follow our team’s instructions and house rules while you are there.
  • Applications that are not submitted are deleted automatically, recordings included, after 14 days.

4. Your audition and the license you give us

You keep the copyright in your audition, photos and CV.

You grant Kliqx an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, review and share them with brands, agencies and production partners (“clients”), so they can consider you for roles. The license lasts as long as we keep your application: 24 months after our last activity on it.

  • Kliqx alone decides whether, when and with which clients your audition is shared, and how. We don’t notify you of each share.
  • “Exclusive” means you won’t license this particular recording to another agency or platform. It doesn’t stop you working with anyone or recording other material.
  • The license covers casting and promoting Kliqx: we may feature your profile picture, photos and clips of your audition on Kliqx’s own website, showreels and social accounts. We don’t sell them or license them to clients as content. Tell us and we stop featuring you in new posts.
  • You appear in a client’s content only through a separate booking agreement that you take part in and are paid under.
  • Your moral rights stay yours.
  • We require clients to use what we share only to make casting decisions.

5. Your responsibilities

When you apply:

  • the content is you, and it is yours to share;
  • no other identifiable person appears without their consent;
  • there is no nudity, no sexual content and nothing unlawful;
  • your details are truthful, and you don’t impersonate anyone;
  • you don’t use bots or automation, or get around the human check or rate limits;
  • you don’t use someone else’s resume link.

Bookings go through Kliqx only. If we introduce you to a client, you don’t accept work from that client, directly or through anyone else, for 12 months after the introduction without our written agreement.

6. Parents and guardians

For a talent under 18 we deal with their parent or guardian. We may contact them and ask for proof of their consent at any time, and remove the application if it isn’t given no contract or booking is made for a talent under 18 without their parent or guardian’s consent and signature.

7. What we promise

  • Every submitted application gets a reply.
  • Your application stays in our talent pool for 24 months after our last activity on it, and we consider it for roles that fit you.
  • Applying is free, and you never pay to be considered for a role. Studio services such as polaroids, reels or test shoots, where we offer them, come under a separate agreement.
  • We never give your email, phone number, precise location or social handles to clients or anyone outside Kliqx. Service providers who run the platform for us are covered in the Privacy Policy.
  • You can withdraw at any time.

8. What we don’t promise

  • We don’t guarantee selection, a callback, a booking, work or earnings.
  • Pay shown on a role is indicative. It is fixed only in a booking agreement.
  • We may open, change, pause or close a role at any time, including after you apply. Casting decisions are ours alone and final.
  • Feedback is brief.

9. Withdrawing

To withdraw, email [email protected] from the address you applied with. We then:

  • stop sharing your application;
  • delete it, backups included, within 30 days;
  • ask the clients we shared it with to delete their copies;
  • stop featuring you in new posts promoting Kliqx. Posts already published stay.

A parent or guardian can withdraw their child’s application at any time.

Withdrawing ends the license from then on. It doesn’t undo a booking you have already agreed to.

10. Refusing or removing applications

We may refuse any application, at our discretion and without giving a reason, and remove one that breaks these Terms.

11. Liability

  • The platform is provided as is.
  • We are not liable for indirect loss, or for problems caused by your device or network.
  • Clients make their own decisions and answer for their own conduct. Outside a booking made through us, we are not liable for them.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits a liability that the law does not let us limit, such as for fraud or gross negligence.

12. Changes

We post new versions of these Terms here, with their date. Each application keeps the version it agreed to: we record it with the application.

13. Law

These Terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
